International cruise lines have announced they are ready to set sail a year after the ‘no sail order’ came into effect amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the green light was given for three US cruise lines to start operating again provided all passengers and crew have been vaccinated.
Many cruise lines are currently operating and these include vessels from Singapore, Europe and the Mediterranean.
“Our call to action was to have these ships sailing by this summer and we are cautiously optimistic we might be on that track.”
