An Indian couple are now facing an investigation after hiring out a plane for their wedding to take place in-flight.
Rakesh-Dakshina from Madurai booked an entire flight for two hours to Bangalore on Indian airline SpiceJet.

The newlyweds wanted to avoid the strict COVID-19 restrictions of just 50 people at any event in the country and opted for their mile-high wedding day which included 160 of their friends and family.
According to reports India’s aviation authority has launched an investigation against the couple who have now come under fire from social media users for being reckless.
The backlash comes amid India’s battle to contain the COVID-19 virus with the death toll surpassing the 300k mark.
