Grammy nominated Niniola & Oskido have a banging new song together that has people dancing.
This Africa Day, the two joined Thomas and Skhumba in the Morning to talk about how their collaboration happened.
Listen to the full conversation here:
Niniola who is the sister to Nigerian Afropop queen Teni, had a big hit in 2017 when she released the hit single “Maradona” produced by Sarz which was a massive track on South African dance floors.
In 2019, Niniola was nominated for a Grammy, for being one of the songwriters and composers of one of Beyonce’s tracks titled “Find Your Way Back” in her album.
Oskido and Niniola spoke about how it all started in the music industry, with Niniola sharing how it all began back home in Nigeria, and how she’s had to fight for her voice to be heard.

Oskido spoke about the collaboration being long overdue, after the two had been speaking for 3 years.
“When I listen to Niniola, she is world music, and she represents the continent. We’ve been talking for almost 3 years, and I think this was the right moment. When she sent the track I was wowed!”
