With a career spanning more than three decades, veteran actor Seputla Sebogodi left South Africa’s television industry with countless unforgettable memories.
His remarkable performances will always be remembered by the generations of viewers who had the privilege of witnessing his talent.
Although Sebogodi is no longer with us, his contribution to South African television will continue to live on through the iconic characters he brought to life.
From his hilarious womanising character, Nkwesheng, in Bophelo ke Semphekgo, to the fiercely protective Kenneth Mashaba, husband to his little Dinny, in Generations, Sebogodi captivated audiences with every performance.
The legendary actor passed away on 16 July 2026 due to diabetes-related complications.
