South African musician Lady Du has publicly expressed her heartfelt gratitude to fellow artist and close friend JazziQ for his unwavering support during one of the most challenging periods of her life.
Lady Du, who lost her father, the legendary DJ Choc Ngwenya, in April this year, took to social media to share a heartfelt message dedicated to JazziQ, praising him for standing by her through the pain.
“I’m dedicating this day to my brother @mrjazziq. Bro, you showed up for me when my father died. You carried me through the pain. I don’t even know how to thank you. A lot happened in a short space of time, yet you managed to be present and to be a true brother,” she wrote.
Lady Du added that words could not fully express her appreciation for JazziQ’s support.
“I don’t even know what to say, buti wam. Thank you sooo much, bro. I’m crying while writing this message because of how far we’ve come. God bless you. I love you, buti wam.”
