Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni is back in the kitchen again, for another one of his classic dishes.
Mboweni’s twitter account has been very entertaining over the last few years.
Through it, he has manage to create a cult following with his culinary skills, his love for pilchards, garlic, avocados and his occasional showcase of his cannabis garden. It’s been exciting seeing him try his hand at cooking up a storm.
The popularity of his cooking could be coming to a kitchen near you. Earlier this year he shared his work-in-progress cook book called “Tito’s Cookbook”.

He recently took to social to share his latest dish, a spicy mix of a South African delicacy, masonja, also known as mopani worms which completely shocked his taste buds.
Too much chillies in the masonja mix. From our garden! Too hot!! Lesson learnt. pic.twitter.com/Yw2rylfIy2

Though we love how the Minister’s dishes end up looking, he too has admitted that maybe he needs an assistant chef.
