High-caliber weapons that were used in the mass shooting that claimed the lives of eighteen people in Ngobozana village in Lusikisiki last month have been retrieved by police, along with two additional suspects.
Masemola declared on Thursday that police had subsequently taken possession of the car that was utilized during the killings.
Three individuals were taken into custody by police in Port Shepstone on Wednesday in relation to the mass shooting. Masemola declared that an additional suspect had been apprehended in East London. On Friday, they are scheduled to appear before the Lusikisiki Magistrate’s Court.
Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, a spokesperson for the national police, announced on Friday morning that the two had been taken into custody on Thursday night in the nearby town of Flagstaff.
