Joe Bryant, the father of the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant, has passed away, his alma mater announced earlier this week.
Bryant, who spent eight seasons in the NBA with three different franchises, was 69.
It is reported that Joe Bryant recently had a massive stroke.
“We are saddened to announce the passing of La Salle basketball great Joe Bryant,” the school said in a statement. “Joe played for the Explorers from 1973-75 and was a member of our coaching staff from 1993-96. He was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.”
In light of the sad news, Kobe Bryant’s childhood friend labelled him as a bad person who didn’t take care of his friends and family.
The Siz The World team discussed the dynamics of Kobe’s relationships with his parents as well as his wife. They also asked listeners, “do you blame Kobe Bryant for the state his parents were in when he died? Should he have taken care of them?”
Kobe Bryant was an American professional basketball player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA.
