Less than 24 hours after his passing- Mr Ibu’s adopted stepdaughter, takes over Tik Tok account.
Less than a day after the death of seasoned Nollywood actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, his adopted daughter Jasmine renamed his personal Tiktok account, which had over a million followers.
A similar incident happened here in South Africa back in 2016, when the then 16-year-old son of Robbie Malinga took over his father’s Instagram account, posting fancy cars and a flashy lifestyle.
Social media users are furious over the development, with many taking to various platforms to accuse Jasmine of “tampering” with the late actor’s legacy after she removed every video of the deceased actor that didn’t include her.
Mr Ibu died on Saturday night, just weeks after leaving the hospital after successful procedures that resulted in the amputation of one leg.
