Today is a joyous day for South African radio as we celebrate the 50th birthday of the esteemed and legendary broadcaster, Thabo Tbose Mokwele.
To mark this big milestone, The Best T in the City and Touch of Soul host took the time to express his heartfelt gratitude to all those who have played a significant role in his life and career.
First and foremost, Tbose expressed his deep appreciation to his parents for nurturing him into the man he is today. He also extended his gratitude to his loving wife, Mapasea Mokwele, for her unwavering support throughout the years.
The Kaya 959 presenter also acknowledged his children, who have given him the incredible opportunity to experience the joys of fatherhood, and his one and only sister for her “love and relentless prayers.”
In addition to his family, Tbose gave a special shout-out to his friends in life, music, and business. He humbly acknowledged that without their support, he wouldn’t have been able to achieve the heights he has reached. “Without you, I’d still be crawling, but on your shoulders, I stand tall. Thank you,” he humbly expressed.
Furthermore, Tbose expressed his sincerest appreciation to all the radio stations that have allowed him to unapologetically pursue his passion for radio, including his current home, Kaya 959.
Last but certainly not least, Tbose extended his deepest gratitude to his listeners who have been with him throughout the years, faithfully tuning in to his shows.
