An anonymous woman is having an affair with her landlord’s husband, and the guilt is starting to eat her up inside. What’s worse is that she and her landlord are close, and she helped her through some very dark times in her life.
“A few years ago, I found myself stranded with two kids and no job. A former colleague of mine asked her aunt if I could occupy the rooms outside, and she would pay. A few weeks ago, one of the uncles called me to let me know that he had been eyeing me and suggested we give it a shot.
“He even suggested that I move out, and he would pay for the new place and even give me an allowance. I agreed, and days later we met at a B&B and did the deed. I feel bad because these people helped me out a lot, and his wife adored me. I feel like I am also betraying my colleague, who showed me nothing but love. Should I continue this affair so that the kids can eat, or should I just let it go?”
