Family man, rapper, and songwriter Senzo Brikka Vilakazi known professionally as Kwesta is back with a new album titled G.O.D Guluva. He joined Kgomotso Meso on Elite Nites for an in-depth discussion about the thought behind the album, the emotions this project invoked, and what the 5-year break since Dakar II meant for him both professionally and personally.
He got deep about not wanting to “get naked” with his fans anymore because there comes a point where you sit back and reflect on how much you’ve let people in on.
“It’s not just about me anymore, it’s about my family and how much I’m willing to share. I’ve left a lot of me out of the album because I wanted it to be relatable and not a selfish project that’s all about me.”
