Zakes Bantwini announces Abantu music event at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium.
On Friday, the artist officially opened the event in the Mother City, and Mayor Geordin-Hill Lewis was also there.
The singer of the song “Osama” also disclosed plans to hold the event in Cape Town for the next three years.
The Grammy Award winner announced that this will be his last album, he will however continue to work in the music business.
Bantwini recently announced that he is a representative of African talent through the talent agency Aline. The firm will broaden its range of services to include film and other creative media in addition to music.

A mix of both domestic and foreign musicians will perform at the Abantu event in October.
He took to Instagram to announce the date of the event and wrote:
” ABANTU 28 OCTOBER 2023
DHL STADIUM CAPE TOWN 📍TICKETS AVAILABLE AT HOWLER”
