Zakes Bantwini partners with luxury German car brand.
South African singer, record producer and businessman Zakes Bantwini, has joined Mercedes-Benz South Africa’s Friend of the Brand program.
For the duration of this partnership, the Grammy-winning recording artist, Bantwini will operate an AMG EQS 53, the German automaker’s top-of-the-line electric vehicle.
The EQS 53 costs approximately R3,418,600 and is the top of the range as it develops 484 kW and 950 Nm, and accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in a mere 3.8 seconds.

Speaking about the collaboration, Madida said it was an honor to be welcomed into the family and to have the chance to enjoy the amazing car for the upcoming 12 months.
“Growing up in the ghetto, everyone dreams of one day driving a Mercedes-Benz. Every car that you drive along the way is just a steppingstone to one day having the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Benz,” said Bantwini
