Banyana Banyana 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad announced.
The final 23-member team for South Africa’s representation at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will begin next month in Australia and New Zealand, has been named by Banyana-Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis.
The four African nations that will represent the continent in the World Cup in New Zealand and Australia from 20 July to 20 August 2023 are South Africa, the current African champions, Morocco, Nigeria, and Zambia.

According to Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture Zizi Kodwa, Banyana Banyana’s participation in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup sends a strong message that women can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
“I want to commend Banyana Banyana for the indomitable spirit they have displayed throughout their careers. Their courage, talent and commitment has made us all proud. May they continue to rise above all obstacles, may they continue to break barriers and redefine what is possible,”
