South African comedian Trevor Noah is currently enjoying the US leg of his world tour.
One of the attendees at his Santa Barbara show was none other than Oprah Winfrey who raved about Noah’s performance.
“Can’t remember when I’ve had a happier Saturday night,” enthused Oprah. “Watching Trevor Noah at the Santa Barbara Bowl with Scott Sanders and daughtergirl Tabitha under a full moon sky. He is astutely observant, brilliant and so funny I left with a laugh headache. Go see when he comes to a city near you!”
Trevor’s next show takes place on June 09, 2023, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, United States.
Ecstatic about meeting Oprah, the comedian thanked the former talk show host and everyone else who came to his show.
In March this year, Trevor Noah received the esteemed Erasmus Prize. Noah became the first comedian after Charlie Chaplin to receive the award (Chaplin received it in 1965). The Erasmus Prize is awarded annually and comes with R3 million in cash. It is awarded to a person or institution that has made an exceptional contribution to the humanities, social sciences, or the arts, in Europe and beyond.
