There is no evidence that Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx is paralyzed or partially blind, despite unconfirmed reports suggesting the Django Unchained star has a blood clot in his brain.
The 55-year old star’s health condition has been speculated on since, Foxx’s hospitalisation after suffering a medical emergency while on set in April.
Since then, there have been several unsubstantiated reports suggesting that Foxx’s family were preparing for the worst.
The actor’s daughter Corrine Foxx offered fans an update on her father’s condition on 15 May saying there was no truth to the hurtful news that he was on his death bed.
“Sad to see how the media runs wild.
My dad has been out of hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday.
Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support.”

However, over the weekend OK! Magazine reported that Foxx’s health scare was a result of a complication from taking the Covid-19 vaccine which resulted in him developing a blood clot to the brain.
The publication, as well as several US social media users claimed that Foxx was left paralyzed and partially blind as a result.
Foxx’s friend and industry colleague, Nick Cannon however said that the actor would himself, give fans an update when he is ready to.
Speaking after replacing Jamie Foxx on Beat Shazam, Cannon said he stepped into the actor’s shoes with his blessings.
“I was actually working on something else and was told, Jamie wants you to do this. And I was like, I’ll do anything for Jamie, I got the blessing from him and Corrine.
I believe when he’s ready, he’s going to address the awaiting fans in the world the way that only he can.”
