Dr Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani better known as “Dr Pashy”, has distanced herself from Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
Dr Pashy is now seeking legal counsel over her potential stolen identity by Magudumana.
The anaesthesiologist issued a statement to her social media on Sunday, 10 April following the reported arrests of Magudumana and fugitive Thabo Bester.
Magudumana, whose own medical license expired in 2021 was on the run with the ‘Facebook rapist’ who she is reportedly married to via customary law.
The two were reportedly arrested in Tanzania over the weekend, after fleeing the country.
Now, other professionals in the medical industry who have previously worked with Magudumana have spoken out against any associations with the fugitive’s alleged accomplice.
The anaesthesiologist says she met Magudumana in 2020 at a women’s seminar hosted by The Doctor Pashy Foundation, Power Women Group and International Power Women Foundation, collectively called ‘The Organisation.’
Magudumana was a guest speaker at the event and due to her reputation of inspiring and uplifting women and children, the Doctor Pashy Foundation entered into a PR Management agreement with Vibes Africa Incorporation International.
A company that is, according to the statement, wholly owned by Nandipha Magudumana.
“On behalf of the Dr Pashy Foundation, Power Women Group, and International Power Women Foundation, (collectively ‘The Organisation’) we have learnt with great concern, through various media outlets, of the potential stolen identity of our founder, Dr Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani (Dr Pashy) by Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
Dr Ntshani is seeking legal advice, and to the extent that these reports are true, the matter will be dealt with legally.”
Dr Pashy’s Organisation refutes claims that she or her foundations benefitted financially from any affiliations with Magudumana.
