On navigating business challenges
“When I was running my pre-school, I was attending a forum from Cape Town, that forum empowered us with many things, they introduced to business advisors, and auditors, and I learned that if you run a business you must start saving.
“The money doesn’t belong to you. I used to pay the school fees of my son with the old check book, I remember the auditor saying that what you are doing is wrong, you must pay yourself a salary. I now run everything correctly, my audit was very strict, and my advisor was very strict.” said Tyobo.
“Have a stubborn vision”
“When I initially started I was onn TV, and they said i was operating illegally, but when you have a vision you must be stubborn. I applied inn 2017, before I started the school, they never responded and then I just continued.
The form was asking me how many kids I had, and I had non, I only received a decline letter in April, and the school was already operational and didn’t know what I would say to the parents and kept quiet and continued, me being exposed to the papers helped me get registered.”
