In the midst of the global tension resulting from the Ukraine and Russia war, North Korea recently launched a ballistic missile off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula on Sunday.
According to CNN, in the first four weeks of 2022 alone, North Korea launched seven missile tests, but none of those were of its longest-range missiles.
The missile was reportedly fired from the Sunan area of North Korea at around 7.52 a.m. local time.
North Korea’s state media has said a day after a missile launch was detected from the country, that the test conducted on Sunday was for the development of a reconnaissance satellite system.
