While the news came as a shock to many, Kuli says she has been involved in politics for decades.
“Well, I’ve been at it for decades. We need to do better and there are many of us. Instead of burning the Schools, lets extend them. I’m all about living in a safe area where they know how to install water meters and don’t estimate electricity usage or claim to have undercharged,” she tweeted.

Kuli received messages of congratulations from many of her fans, but some, including Ntsiki Mazwai, were less than impressed.

One Twitter user told Ntsiki Kuli was “young and naive” back then.
Ntsiki clapped back: “She was way older than me and being a bully….”

Some Twitter users went as far as to mock Kuli. “What’s next, failed soccer players?” one person joked.
Despite the negative feedback, dozens of tweeps believe Kuli is the right woman for the job.
I would vote for Her if was in Tshwane… Hard working lady, her track record experience, education in Politics . I support this move. I wish more women are motivated by this.
