Shona Ferguson’s memorial service to be held on Friday
The Ferguson family has released details of the late Shona Ferguson’s memorial service.
In a Twitter statement, the family announced that the service will be held on Friday, 6 August 2021, in Johannesburg.
The service will start at 10am and will be for two hours.
“The memorial service of the late Mr. Shona Ferguson will be held tomorrow, 06 August 2021, from 10am – 12pm,” reads a statement from the family.

It will only be attended by 50 invited guests to ensure adherence to COVID-19 precautions.
“As per COVID-19 protocols only 50 invited guests will be allowed in,” states the statement.
The memorial service will also be streamed online.
Connie Ferguson thanks the world for support
Connie Ferguson, the wife of the late Shona Ferguson, has thanked the world for the support she has been receiving.
“I really have no words but to say THANK YOU. Thank you South Africa, the continent and the world at large for the outpouring of love, words of comfort and prayers. My family and I appreciate you. God bless you all,” she wrote.

“There’s never been anything ordinary about this man of God, and to the last moment, he had to put on a SHO!” wrote the legendary actress.
She also thanked her colleagues and friends for their support.
“To my friends and colleagues, your support has been immeasurable! THANK YOU and God bless and multiply you,” she wrote.
