One of the most popular book in this century The Alchemist by all-time bestselling Portuguese language author Paulo Coelho is being turned into a movie.
Will Smith recently shared a teaser of a movie adaptation of the book.

It has sold around 65 million copies in 56 languages, and reputedly holds the Guinness world record for most translated work by a living author.
Paulo Coelho who has years refused to give away the rights to make the movie, has warmed up to the idea.
“I was totally against the project, then I saw PASSION, LOVE AND TALENT. Now I am totally supportive.” he said
TriStar, an American film studio and production company that is a member of the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group president Hannah Minghella spoke about how important making this movie was.
“It is a story I have returned to over the years and it has long been a dream to bring this insightful, magical and cinematic adventure to the screen. It’s easy to see why the book has connected with more than 65 million people around the world, and we’re committed to making a film that authentically captures its power and expands its reach.”
