Scenes of a mass of people desperate to escape Afghanistan as the Taliban took control has caused a social media storm and concern across the world.
The Taliban has declared the war in Afghanistan over after its fighters swept into the capital, Kabul, and President Ashraf Ghani has also reportedly fled the country.
On Monday evening in Kabul, military as well as civilian flights were suspended, reports from journalist and video footage shows recorded sounds of gunfire at the airport as people ran across the tarmac and approached gates from outside.

It’s alleged that at least seven people are reported dead after panic rush of crowds at Kabul airport as Taliban seize power.
It is now twenty years after the United States invaded Afghanistan.
