“Have you ever heard of a phenomenon known as quiet quitting?” Asks The Best T in the City with Tbose.
HR knows a lot about it. It’s a term slowly growing in the working space where you are leaving the job before you officially resign. You just do the bare minimum.
There is also quiet quitting in relationships – she no longer asks about your whereabouts nor complains when you are not giving her the love she deserves.
Then out of the blue, she just leaves you. And the truth is this was never sudden as she had emotionally left the relationship a long time ago.
She was just waiting for the right moment to leave you.
Monalisa reiterates this.
“I have done quiet quitting before and for me it’s not asking him anything. If you promised to do something and you don’t do it, I don’t ask you why. I just say thank you to everything that you say.
“Even if you send a good morning text it’s not longer good morning babe, my response will just be good morning. When it’s like that just know that it’s over.”
Lindi shares how she learned she is in the wrong relationship after 20 years.
“I’m actually experiencing it as we speak. I always thought my partner will change.
“I learned that he is not going to change and now i’m waiting for the right time to leave.
“I just want to get a place first, I realised that after 20 years that he is not going to change.”
Here’s what people are saying on social media.
