McDonald’s has joined the future by opening a fully automated store with no human employees.
The sci-fi shop is the first of its type, with a giant conveyor belt bringing food and robots assembling burgers.
The test store which is set to change McDonald’s forever has received mixed reaction, with many concerned that this is the beginning of mass job losses in the future.

McDonald’s stated earlier this month that this sci-fi outlet would be introduced as an attempt to stretch the brand’s limits.
The fast-food corporation stated that this test location is ideal for people on the go who need something quick.
McDonald’s in a statement said there is a reason why the test store has a considerably smaller store:
“When you step inside the test restaurant concept, you’ll notice it’s considerably smaller than a traditional McDonald’s restaurant in the U.S. Why?
“The features-inside and outside-are geared toward customers who are planning to dine at home or on the go.”
