About 2 million unvaccinated people in Austria are placed under lockdown as the country deals with a surge of infections.
Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, fifteen people were arrested following a protest over a newly-imposed lockdown.
Experts warn that South African could see a fourth wave of infections following the recent government elections, plus vaccinations turnouts have been less than expected.
Considering the impact of a hard lockdown, low vaccination numbers, etc., Thomas and Skhumba asked the Morning Show listeners to advise the President on what to do next; what would they suggest?
“If I were the President, I would tell them to have a nice festive season. The very same President was mingling with thousands of people,” said a caller.
Another caller said that he would close alcohol and tell people to drink soft drinks and stay indoors.
If I Were President I would make a day were you bring in pillows, blankets and slippers to work especially on Monday or Friday. #ThomasAndSkhumba
