Kaizer Chiefs founder Dr Kaizer Motaung will be inducted into SA’s Hall of Fame.
The South African Hall of Fame is scheduled to honor Dr. Kaizer Motaung, the chairman of Kaizer Chiefs, on the 9th of November.
In recognition of Dr. Motaung’s contributions to South African football, the University of Cape Town awarded him an honorary doctorate in social science last year.
The South African Hall of Fame said on Tuesday that Motaung will be admitted in recognition of his steadfast commitment, significant influence, and enduring legacy on the game.

In addition to his significant accomplishments as a world-class football player, manager, and business executive.
“Motaung, an iconic figure in South African sports history, has significantly shaped the landscape of football in the nation. As the visionary founder and chair of the renowned Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, his influence reaches far beyond the field.
“With this induction, his extraordinary contributions will be permanently enshrined in the annals of the South African Hall of Fame.” said South African Hall of Fame chair Johnny Burger
On Monday, the former player for the Orlando Pirates celebrated his 79th birthday.
