It’s been reported by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela that legendary South African actor, Seputla Sebogodi will be starring alongside international breakout star Thuso Mbedu and renowned American actress, Viola Davis in the forthcoming film, The Woman King.
The movie is set to be filmed here in South Africa.

Seputla boasts years of experience as an actor.
His more notable roles include Kenneth Mashaba in Generations, Nkosheng in Bophelo Ke Semphego and Solomon in Rhythm City.
He is a recipient of two SAFTA Awards.
Thuso announced that she’d be featuring in The Woman King earlier this year through Instagram live. She found out about the production in 2019 after meeting with Viola Davis.
About The Woman King
The historical movie draws inspiration from the real-life events that happened in The Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful countries in Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries.
