MacGuyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho’s popular ‘Podcast and Chill’ series is coming to a TV screen near you.
Channel O has announced that it has added the podcast, which also airs on YouTube, to its line-up.
“Whether talking about their careers, personal lives or other people’s business, few shows get SA celebs to open up as much as Podcast and Chill with MacG does,” M-Net said in a statement.
Channel O will be broadcasting a celebrity edition of the popular podcast series.
The podcast, which is co-hosted by Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady, is one of the most-streamed podcasts in South Africa.
The podcast series also has 256, 000 subscribers on YouTube.
“We love giving our viewers content that is relevant, relatable and topical, and Podcast and Chill with MacG is exactly that… The chemistry between MacG and his guests makes for great television and we’re thrilled to have them join Channel O,” Nomsa Philiso, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net, said.
M-Net promises that no topic will be off-limits when MacG and his crew interview some of Mzansi’s A-list celebrities.
Naakmusiq joins Podcast and Chill network
MacG Podcast and Chill network keeps growing. Anga ‘Naakmusiq’ Makubalo recently announced that he will be joining the network.
He is hosting a series called ‘Podcarst and Rides’, where he will discuss all things cars.
The first episode aired last week. Naakmusiq was joined by his co-hosts Ntlhe Mahlatsi and Nokuthula Mbele.
Naakmusiq says he is “super excited” to join the Podcast and Chill network.
“We launch the 1st ever episode of #PodCARStAndRIDE with my amazing team @ntlheezee & @_nokuthulambele talking all things cars. Super amped for this one. Do tune in!! @MacGUnleashed it’s GO TIME!” he wrote ahead of the episode.

The celebrity edition of ‘Podcast and Chill with MacG’ will debut on Channel O (DStv channel 320) on September 1 at 21:30.
