Actress Phuti Khomo says she has been receiving a lot of direct messages from people with advice on how to deal with her “stomach problem”.
The social media users shared their tips after Phuti posted a series of pictures of herself on Instagram.
She was wearing a pair of silk pants and a crop top in the images.
“Opening the door means inviting opportunities & challenges, but it’s the only way to let ourselves out of our box and expand/ascend to greater heights,” the former ‘Muvhango’ star captioned her post.
“I’ll wear whatever I want”
Phuti says some people went as far as telling her that she should not wear a crop top because her stomach was not looking good.
“Okay, let me tell you something. First of all, I can wear whatever I want to wear as long as I feel comfortable in it, it’s none of your business,” she clapped back.
The former Miss Teen SA added that she does not think she has a stomach problem.
“The pants were a bit tight. Do you understand? Also, what contributes to how big or tiny you might look in whatever it is you are wearing, is your angles, how you shoot yourself number.
“And number two, also how tight your stuff is. So, if your stuff is tight, you will have like little bits of meat hanging out.
“I’m a 36-year-old woman. I think I know how to dress myself and what looks good on me. So, if my boob or my stomach is giving you issues the it’s your issue, not mine,” she said.
