On his love for South African music
He also spoke about his collaboration with a few South African artists on the album including Nduduzo Makhathi and how over the years he’s never seen a country that has a similar to South Africa.
“Probably one of the most important and interesting things about music, I am totally interested now with what is happening in South Africa musically speaking, I think that the music not only has very high level of musicianship, but also has a spirit that can hardly be found in music from other parts of the world.”
