Gwede Mantashe, the national chairperson of the ANC, was booed off the stage on Monday while attempting to address delegates at the Cosatu national convention in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Conference attendees began singing and wouldn’t stop when Mantashe was attempting to convey a message of support on behalf of the ANC, Cosatu’s alliance partner.
As Mantashe entered the Gallagher Convention Center and took the stage, attendees began singing “Asinamali.”
