Is it “vibranium” from the fictitious Wakanda, or another Internet hoax?
The internet went abuzz over the weekend when footage of electrically charged stones reportedly discovered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo surfaced.
Videos of the electric rocks sparking when touched together and even being used to switch on a tiny light bulb have been making the rounds on the internet.
Researchers from all over the world are trying to understand the possibilities of this phenomenon in response to the discovery.

A kilo of the electrically charged stone is reported to be able to light a two-bedroom house for at least two months, while a gram of it is thought to light a bulb for more than 72 hours.
