Tumelo Ramaphosa, the youngest son of President Cyril Ramaphosa and an entrepreneur, claims that South African banks have refused to open a business banking account for him.
He’s very active in business circles, with StudEx Group, the parent firm of IT consulting StudEx Enterprise, cryptocurrency-based StudEx Wild Life, and community networking vehicle StudEx Live, founded and led by Ramaphosa junior.
Tumelo didn’t say which institutions turned him down, but he did say the episode reaffirmed his belief in decentralized funding.

He recently took to his Instagram and that SA banks consider him as a “Financial Weapon”.
“In my own county banks will not open a bank account for my business because they say I am a politically exposed so they won’t touch me. They call me a financial nuclear weapon… ” wrote Tumelo
He also said he can’t even work in his own home country.
“So I basically can’t even work in my own beautiful country that I love so much – the most beautiful country in the would. But I will be back to F@ck shit up soon…”
“I’m not crying that’s why I’m in crypto to F the banks. Decentralized finance is here to feast like a pregnant mother Polar Bear.” said Ramaphosa.
