The family of an 11-year-old boy is seeking assistance for a medical condition that has made his hand overly swollen.
The Grade 5 learner has reportedly been unable to receive help from the local health care facilities.
The family confirmed that the condition started at birth and has been escalating every year as he grew older.
The young boy is currently being raised by his grandmother after the passing of her mother.

According to a report by 1KZNTV News, the young boy from Mtubatuba has had crippling pain, the channel published the story on social media saying: The Nene family in Mtubatuba are pleading for medical intervention for their child (11). The young boy has crippling pain in his hand and has not been able to receive any assistance from the local health facilities he has been taken to.”
