- Some parts of Tshwane will face a 10-hour water outage on Wednesday due to maintenance at the Temba Water Treatment Plant.
- Work will run from 07:00 to 17:00 and affect areas including Sekampaneng, Suurman, Dilopye, Hammanskraal West, Kanana, and Renstown.
- The City has urged residents to use water sparingly and apologised for the inconvenience.
Some Tshwane residents will experience a 10-hour water outage on Wednesday due to maintenance work at the Temba Water Treatment Plant.
Magalies Water will be installing a flow meter at a chamber and a butterfly valve on the inlet of Reservoir 3.
The team will also dismantle the existing 200mm and 300mm gate valves and replace them with new ones on the reservoir inlet pipe.
The work is expected to run from 07:00 to 17:00, resulting in a temporary water supply interruption.
Affected areas include:
• Sekampaneng
• Suurman
• Dilopye
• Unit 5 and Unit 7
• Hammanskraal West
• Kanana
• Renstown
The City of Tshwane has urged residents to use water sparingly during this period and apologised for the inconvenience caused by the planned outage.
