Police Minister Bheki Cele, Defence Minister Thandi Modise, Khumbuzo Ntshaveni, Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola said on Sunday afternoon that they would not allow any disruption to the stability of the country.
The head of this cluster, Police Minister Bheki Cele, stated earlier in the week that they were satisfied with the safety and security of the election process thus far.
Fears of potential pandemonium have begun to increase in response to remarks made by former President Jacob Zuma on Saturday night, when he cautioned against the IEC making the results announcement.
