Over the last week, there have been numerous reports about what may have really transpired at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm.
According to reports after a break-in at Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in 2020, Namibian authorities discovered suspects, but sources claim that SA intelligence back-channels were used to persuade the Namibians to drop the case.
Now, Arthur Fraser’s criminal complaint puts the President in a tough position, forcing him to explain what he did, what he knew, and why he covered it up.

Point of View with Phemelo Motenne spoke to Tileni Mongudhi, Freelance Investigative Journalist at TSM Tank Media (Namibian Journalist who worked on this investigation with amaBhungane) about the Namibian connection in the whole case.

Mongudhi, spoke about how suspicious it was when a man was apprehended during lockdown raised questions in Namibia.
“In June 2020, there we a mysterious circumstance, initial reports were that a gentleman had illegally crossed into Namibia from South Africa through the Orange River to Nambia, this was during the lockdown, where COOVID 19 regulations were flouted.”
“He was then driven to Windhoek which is 900kms from were crossed into Namibia and was then apprehended, this was a whole massive operation and was then put into quarantine.”

According to information received by amaBhungane, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala game property in Limpopo was robbed of $4 million in cash in 2020.
Mongudhi, further stated that the accused moved about N$6 million (about R6 million) into Namibian accounts between February and May 2020, according to Namibian law enforcement agencies.
One of the suspects, Imanuwela David, a Namibian national with a South African passport, was apprehended after crossing into Namibia illegally on or around June 12, 2020.
The conversation gave further details on the gripping timeline of the burglary at the President’s farm.
