Namibia’s first lady remembers Late President Hage Geingob
Monica Geingos, the former first lady of Namibia, has spoken out after her husband Hage Geingob passed away.
On February 4, 2024, the former president Geingob passed away at Lady Pohamba Hospital.
The late President and Geingos tied the know in a beautiful ceremony on February 14, 2015. It was their ninth anniversary on this day.
On January 31, 2024, Geingob returned from the United States of America after receiving a two-day experimental treatment for cancerous cells. Only a month prior, he had bravely told the people of Namibia about his diagnosis.
Geingob was in his second and last term and was loved for his role in the liberation struggle, he was also the main drafter of Namibia’s Constitution.
On Wednesday, his wife Monica Geingos shared a picture of herself and the late President along with a message on her official X account.
