André de Ruyter, a former CEO of Eskom, has been appointed a senior guest lecturer at Yale University.
André de Ruyter, the former CEO of Eskom, has accepted a glamorous new position at Yale, a prestigious Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut.
Following an explosive interview on eNCA where he accused the ANC of corruption and enrichment through Eskom, De Ruyter abruptly quit Eskom in February 2023.
He previously worked at Sasol and Nampak and was appointed as the CEO of Eskom in December 2019.

De Ruyter has previously mentioned receiving a few intriguing job offers, several of which were connected to green energy.
De Ruyter has accepted a seat at Yale, a prominent private American university, according to the Sunday Rapport.
He will teach a course on renewable energy and the market for the green economy as a senior guest professor.
According to MyBroadbrand, De Ruyter will present the course at three of Yale’s institutions – School of Management, Jackson School of Global Affairs, and School of the Environment.
