Zim UFC fighter gets surprise of a lifetime from Dwayne Rock Johnson.
Themba Gorimbo, a homeless UFC fighter, was shocked when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson suprsed him with a gift of a lifetime.
The Zimbabwean-born athlete’s admission that he was sleeping on a gym couch and had only $7 (about R130) in his bank account prior to his first significant win shocked the wrestler-turned-movie star.
After learning of Gorimbo’s financial troubles, the WWE superstar paid him a surprise visit at his Miami gym, where he had been residing since leaving his native Zimbabwe to pursue his MMA career.
Johnson promised to assist him after remembering his own pre-wrestling circumstances.

The Rock uploaded a10-minute long video to his Twitter, and wrote:
“Welcome home @TheAnswerMMA. You and your family enjoy your new house brother. Lights are on. Bills are paid.”
“Keep your “My Reason” list close, keep taking care of your people and I’m honoured to play a very, very small role in your $7 bucks journey.
“$7 bucks. I’ve been there too. Got your back brother. Let’s get to work on that dream of becoming @ufc champion one day. Welcome home ~ DJ. ps – enjoy your Cheetos and alligators.”
