On a historic night in Los Angeles in February this year, Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman made Mzansi proud by winning the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Performance for their song “Bayethe.”
The South African Music Awards has recognized the massive accomplishment by awarding each musician with an International Achievement Award ahead of this year’s award ceremony.
The organizers of the Samas, Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA), recently confirmed that the show will go on as planned on November 18 at SunBet Arena in Menlyn, Pretoria.
The SAMA took to Instagram to make the award announcement highlighting the significance of this achievement.
