DBN Gogo becomes the first Amapiano DJ to perform at the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium.
DJ and producer Mandisa Radebe, professionally known as DBN Gogo is set to make history in the music industry by being the first Amapiano female DJ and producer to play at the prestigious Tomorrowland event in Belgium.
Tomorrowland draws over 400,000 visitors annually from over 200 different countries. This year’s festival, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, will span two weekends, making DBN Gogo’s historic performance all the more significant.
DBN Gogo who is related to South African billionaire Patrice Motsepe and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa gained local attention following the release of her debut single “Khuza Gogo”, which was certified Platinum in South Africa.
In October 2021, she became the first South African to join the Global Equal programme by Spotify. In 2022 she headlined to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival which was held in the U.S.
She most recently released ‘Balimele’, a collaboration with amapiano sensation LeeMcKrazy and Tyler ICU. A week ago she performed her very first headline show at iconic Somerset House.
