Unathi’s advice to other women
Unathi has advised women to fight for their dreams.
“ILWA NTOMBO. Fight for your dreams Mama. KNOW that you are ENTITLED to all that your heart desires by virtue of being ALIVE🇿🇦 You cannot give what you don’t have,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also encouraged women to take time for themselves.
“So many of you CRYING that all you want is TIME on Mother’s Day. Why don’t you want it ALL the time and INSIST on it. It MIGHT be met with resistance🥴 because SOCIETY has made the world believe that mothers don’t need REGULAR time away from their children. BUT they will FINALLY have to get it,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Thank me later when you’re happier, more patient, have more energy and WHEN remember that YOUR dreams are STILL valid,” she concluded.
