Over the last seven years, Mapaseka Mokwele has led insightful conversations about family, intimacy, parenting, sex and sexuality on the much-loved show, Home with Mapaseka. Afropolitan listeners had come to rely on her skills as a seasoned broadcaster to facilitate some of the most difficult conversations about life in our homes. It is therefore with sadness that we announce the end of her tenure at Kaya 959 as she leaves us to pursue other interests.
“My journey at Kaya 959 has been nothing short of amazing! The time has come for me to move on and focus on other avenues of my life and career. I will miss the conversations and great insights from all the Afropolitans, contributors and producers,” says Mapaseka Mokwele.
As a station, we wish Mapaseka all the best in her new pursuits and would like to thank her for commitment to important discussions about our homes.

ENDS.
