Congratulations are in order for media personality Mapaseka Mokwele.
The television presenter has just added a Master’s Degree to her qualifications.
Taking to Instagram, Mapaseka explained that she completed her Master’s Degree studies in 2019 and was supposed to graduate in 2020. However, due to COVID-19, she was informed that she will have a virtual graduation which she says she didn’t want.
“This grad on its own has been quite a journey…finished this Master’s late 2019/ early 2020. Enter COVID…. Chose not to graduate virtually because I wanted to walk across that stage, I worked hard for this and wanted to celebrate fully!” wrote the star.

“Soon gave up on that dream and thought OK fine let’s just do it…was given the wrong virtual grad date so I missed it…I was upset…then I just thought ok whatever…. just fetch your certificate….Last week I received an email saying Grad is on Monday!” she wrote.
She says her husband, Kaya 959 presenter Thabo Mokwele, and her mom encouraged her to attend the graduation ceremony and make her dream of walking across the stage a reality.
“My everyday supporters (Hubby @tboseza and my Mom) insisted I attend…I was already so over it. Thank you both for your constant love and support. Here we are, so glad I came,” she wrote on Instagram.
The media personality says she is proud of her hard work.
“So proud of my hard work! I am a Master! Master Mapaseka Mokwele. Papa I felt you there with me,” she wrote on Instagram.
