During The Open Line segment on Siz The World this morning, the team and listeners explored several pressing issues including the sale of troubled PSL club Royal Am and a parent’s concern with their child’s resistance to furthering their studies.
One listener questioned, “What will happen to Royal AM now that the bid to buy the club has fallen through?”
Stand-in sports reporter Philasande Sixaba explained. “Whoever purchases the club’s status would likely acquire a relegated team’s standing, as Royal AM hasn’t secured enough points to remain in the top flight. Essentially, they might be buying an NFD (National First Division) club. The PSL will ultimately decide this matter.”
Regarding the matriculant’s educational reluctance a listener suggested.
“The mother should explore her child’s interests and passions, then consider alternative education paths aligned with these.”
There are also cost-effective options like Coursera’s certified courses (endorsed by Google and IBM), which take two to six months to complete. In-demand fields include Digital Marketing, Project Management and Data Science
