Liebenberg gave ways to make it through the year, survive the festive season and begin the new year on a high note.
“We are struggling and it all comes naturally to the rest of the world, we’ve taken a massive knock from the COVID, the Russia-Ukraine war, with food shortages, global warming and all sort of things that are going on around the world.”
“If you look at the economy and the kind of salaries people are earning, we can’t be expected to be doing better than we are. With that said there are certain steps we can take as individuals.”

Liebenberg gave the following tips to make your finances get back on track.
Seek professional guidance: An experienced financial advisor may assist you in reviewing your insurance and can inform you of the financial effects of any changes you are thinking about.
Check your investments: The performance of your hard-earned money is very important. Continue to monitor it to see if you are getting the best returns, paying reasonable management fees, and choosing the right risk level for your stage of life.
Make the most of your medical insurance: Be sure to take advantage of all perks, including no-cost health screenings and discounts at linked businesses.
Check your credit rating: Lenders evaluate your risk profile and choose the appropriate interest rate based on your credit score.
Make a list of your debts: Get a comprehensive understanding of your debts and the interest rates applied to each one.
