Ami Faku has shared some behind-the-scenes footage of herself with Grammy Award-winner Black Coffee, cooking up some new music.
The ‘Into Ingawe’ hitmaker uploaded a video of herself performing at Gallo Records, in what she says is a special project with Black Coffee.
In the video the two are seen during a brief creative moment, making music from scratch.
In 2021 The Gallo Music remix series, where the music label reproduces some classics from its extensive archives utilizing up-and-coming African musicians, debuted with Mpho Sebina’s tune Too Late For Mama.
DJ Black Coffee served as an executive producer.
As part of the series, Da Capo released a remix of Imbizo by the renowned Maskandi musician Phuzekhemisi in November.
Fans are eagerly awaiting to hear the final product of their session in the studio.

Faku didn’t reveal the full scope of the project but gave her fans a tantalising teaser.
